What is a PPE Portrait?<\/h3>
\nPPE Portraits are postcard-sized portrait pictures worn on the body. They are most commonly disposable one-time-use stickers, but can also be laminated and reusable.

\nAnyone who must wear a mask or other PPE that obscures a portion of the face or other parts of the body.

How did you come up with the idea of PPE Portraits?<\/h3>
\nThe PPE Portrait project started during the 2014\/2015 Ebola outbreak in Liberia by artist Mary Beth Heffernan as a way to humanize medical staff wearing full personal protective equipment (PPE).
\n<\/div><\/div>\n

How do you stay safe while taking the pictures for the portraits?<\/h3>
\nWe recommend that the photographer use a 200mm or longer lens so that the photographer can stand at least 15 feet from the subject to maintain an extra-large social distance. We also recommend that the portraits be taken outside in fresh air to further reduce the risk.<\/div><\/div>\n

I want my own PPE Portrait! how do I get one?<\/h3>
\nWe have instructions for making disposable individual portraits<\/a> as well as laminated portraits<\/a>.
